Spirit and Truth

God is seeking people to worship Him on His terms- in spirit and in truth. “In spirit” means with all of your heart. “In truth” means according to God’s revelations of Himself in His Word.

A time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth,  for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. -John 4:23-24

Prayer: Father, worship is not limited to one hour on Sunday. Teach me to worship You through the reading of  Your Word, through solitude and meditation, through scripture memory, through singing songs of praise to Your holy name, and through all the many other ways that You reveal Yourself to me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
